Original Description:
This early 1900's solid mahogany cased voltmeter measures 4 1/4" x 7 3/4" x 7" (closed) overall and features ac/dc and a VERY low 1366 serial number.  Last tested in 1936, it features etched glass graphics over the meter and brass screw construction to the case.  I have not tested it.  The last patent date is 1890 and it reads in part, "Weston Standard Portable Alternating and Direct Current Voltmeter".  There are scuffs and cracks to th case which retains its origi...nal nickel-plated brass latch and brittle leather handle.
