Here we have an original ~ 1951 PONTIAC CHIEFTAIN VINTAGE AUTOMOBILE HOOD ORNAMENT 514855 BLC ~ . The over all condition is pretty decent with some expected pitting as it was used on a Chieftain. The original chrome has a mirror like finish and other than some pitting it is in very nice Vintage condition. It measures approximately 19 1/4 inches long and weighs over 3 pounds. This is a really impressive hood ornament in person! " very substantial and fairly... large " . Has the original factory numbers 514855 BLC. This would be a nice find if you are in need of a decent example for your 51 Chieftain.
