Original Description:
You are buying an original antique round wood cheese box. The lid is signed E. Murdock Jr. Boston. This is a true 19th century box, it has lovely original surface patina. The company was in business in Boston from the 1830s to 1880s. The box does show some age damage as there is a tight crack in the side that extends about half way around(last photo), but it still displays excellent, and will look amazing on kitchen shelf.
