Antique salt glazed stoneware crockery jug with handle. Measures approx. 9 1/2" H, 9" across including handle, 7 1/2" diameter at the base. We estimate it to hold roughly 1 - 1 1/2" gallons. It has not markings of any kind. Great condition - no cracks or significant chips. One very small flake chip on the bottom edge as pictured. There are several areas on the shoulder, just below the collar, where the glaze either didn't take or has been worn away. The brownish color you see on t...he shoulder is actually the clay material showing through the glaze. Unknown maker or region of origin. Weight is just a hair shy of 6 lbs. prior to packaging for shipment. SHIPPING: We are always happy to combine shipping on multiples items whenever it is safe to do so. If you do pay the eBay generated invoice(s) and the actual shipping cost turns out to be less than you were charged, we will automatically refund overages of $2 or more.
We use plenty of quality packing materials so that your item(s) will arrive in the same condition as they left our shop. We do recycle/re-use clean, usable packing materials when possible. If your item arrives damaged in shipment (this almost never happens) please save all packing materials and take photos of the condition of the package as it arrived. We will refund your full purchase price including shipping costs as soon as we have the documentation needed for us to file a claim against the shipper.
We do recognize that shipping costs can seem extremely high for certain items. We do not add any handling or materials fees to the actual cost of shipping. eBay retains 10% of the shipping charges we collect from our buyers. We will always use the least cost, safest method to ship your item(s). For purchases of $250 or more, we require signature on delivery, for your protection and ours.
