A wonderful pair of c1930 Arts and Crafts earrings, a design which has been attributed to Bernard Instone by top galleries over recent years. Please research the fabulous Tadema Gallery archive, for example to find the same design.These are in lovely condition, which is always great to find, only one of the clip backs is rather loose so will need tightening. You may actually just ask your jeweller to put posts on them for a more comfortable wear anyway.The design is glorious-three moon...stone cabochons, of graduating sizes are claw set with a small faceted sapphire as an exclamation point! Superb. The moonstones are opulent and very blue. The combination of light and dark blue is stunning. There are hand-tooled leaves around the cluster of stones and a couple are on very long and sinuous stalks. Arts and Crafts beauties, which you will love. They measure approx. 2.5cm in both height and width. Marked SILVER on the clip itself.I will post the earrings by International Tracked and Signed from here in Italy. Thank you for looking.
