Beautiful 1940's blonde wood minimalist desk was painted black at some point with a water-based latex paint that comes off super easy with paint stripper. In fact, as you can see in the pictures, I stripped the paint off the top of this desk in about 10 minutes flat. The desk is in great physical and structural condition and has very nice wood underneath that black paint. Would also look great with a new high-gloss lacquer job!Unfortunately, a previous owner papered the bottom of the p...encil drawer where the John Widdicomb mark is located and covered that up.
