This is a pair of Original Mid Century Modern Enamel on Copper Artwork. The artist is Judith Daner. Each of the pictures are signed in the lower right hand corner with JD.The design is of two Asian or Japanese women.Very colorful. Great condition with no damage. The enamel on copper panels are mounted on a walnut board. The frames have a bamboo look to them. The process of enamel to copper involves the firing of the glass onto the metal in a kiln.Firing at temperatures ranging ...from 1350 to 1650 degrees. The frames each measure 21" tall by 15 1/2" wide. The enameled plaques each measure 15 1/2" tall by 11 1/2" wide. The backside of each frame is backed in wood, making them each weigh close to 10 pounds. If you have any questions on the shipping costs, email me with your zip code and I will try to find the best price options.I believe the wood backing is original to them and are there to prevent any damage to enamel. Please see the photos and email me with any questions.Would make a great gift.
