You are bidding on an ANTIQUE maritime ship's clock. This particular clock is a Chelsea Ship's Bell clock. This particular one has the serial number is 103683 - which would date this from 1915-1919. The patent date is 1901. There's another set of numbers/letters 'scratched' next to the serial number- that shows "N 15672" - not sure what that would represent. The clock also has another company's name on the face - George B. Carpenter & Co from Chicago, IL. - which was a ...manufacturer of several different maritime items from the 1800's through the early 1900's. The case is brass and this includes the original key and three screws to mount into a wall or flat surface. This currently includes a wooden stand. This clock WORKS great - keeps time and chimes on the hour. Condition: overall, good. The brass and glass are fine. The face of the clock has some scuffs and there's a slight warp in the brass case - see picture 6 (this would not prevent this from being mounted). Here's the details: Item: Maritime Ship's clockBrand/maker: George B.
