Please read "Condition Description" above..... Unique, gorgeous antique late 1800s silk velvet textile fragment with a taffeta underside...not often seen....salvaged from a 19th century bodice....in a shade of rich midnight blue...soft to the touch, tight weave....difficult capturing its texture due to the intense shade of blue.  No rips, tears or stains.  French in origin.
