This is all natural Lapis that is not color enhanced in any way and is guaranteed as such. Lapis Lazuli was once used to manufacture blue artistic paints before 1834. Many of the worlds masterpieces we painted using lapis based blues. This high quality lapis is only found in Afghanistan and Egypt. Many ancient cultures believed that lapis enhanced self-expression. This Lapis Gemstone is a Cushion-Shaped Cabochon Cut. Cabochon refers to a gemstone that has been shaped and highly polished instead of being faceted.
