This past year I acquired a good portion of the Far West material assembled by the late Byron Anderson of El Cajon, California (see last pic for 1968 bio in Who's Who in Indian Relics Vol. 2). Within that collection was this exceptional Late Prehistoric Wallula Gap point. According to Anderson's tag,  this point was found between 1951 to 1953 on the OO Ranch 8 miles west of northwest corner of Harney Lake, Warm Springs Valley, northern Harney County, ...Oregon. Anderson purchased the point from H.M. Worcester collection in 1964. This beautiful point is 1 3/4 inches long, made from a semi-translucent obsidian, and is thin and very well flaked.
