2 Late Prehistoric Wallula Gap Points, Warm Springs, Harney Co OR X Anderson

This past year I acquired a good portion of the Far West material assembled by the late Byron Anderson of El Cajon, California (see last pic for 1968 bio in Who's Who in Indian Relics Vol. 2). Within that collection were these 2 Late Prehistoric Wallula Gap points. According to Anderson's tag, this point was found between 1951 to 1953 on the OO Ranch 8 miles west of northwest corner of Harney Lake, Warm Springs Valley, northern Harney County, Oregon. Anderson ...purchased the points from H.M. Worcester's collection in 1964. These beautiful examples are finely flaked from semi-translucent material, possibly chalcedony, and lengths are 1 inch and 1 1/4 inches.
