ANTIQUE GEORGIAN ENGLISH 15K GOLD ENAMEL PEARL & CITRINE BROOCH / PENDANT c1820
An antique English 15 carat gold (tests thereabouts, of heavy duty hollow construction) brooch / pendant; beautifully made, with a hand chased floral & shell border surrounding a band of blue enamel and a row of seed pearls around a brightly foiled citrine. A lovely quality Georgian example...so collectible & ready to wear!CONDITION: All original and very good. Slightest signs of wear comm...ensurate with age and use. A few pearls naturally discoloured over time. Small chip to enamel. Old file test mark to back.DATE/MARKS: Around 1820. Not marked.DIMENSIONS: 26 mm diameter (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.WEIGHT: Approx. 10.6 grams.Click here to view our other items.
