An attractive antique, Victorian beadwork panel.
...to, "Droid Sans", "Segoe UI", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">Shield shaped it would likely have been set into a pole screen (fire screen), it has a woolwork ground with elaborate glass beading in a floral design.
The hours that went into making these beadwork pieces is unreal but the result is beautifully crafted works of art.
Could be framed or hung or reused as a fire screen.
The edges are rough, there is a significant piece of beading missing from the centre (see photos), see marks and fraying commensurate with age.
