This auction is for a truly beautiful antique piano shawl. This Manton de Manila is black silk with highly polychromatic embroidery. The pattern is an exquisite lush floral in an interesting square block pattern with very concentrated embroidery and very little open space.The condition is excellent with no holes or rips. The only condition issue that I could find was some of the tiniest loose threads but almost none. Please see pics. The shawl is very generous measuring approx. 53” b...y 50” with an additional 15” fringe.
