This auction is for one original WW2 M/42 German Army Helmet, size ET64. It has the German Army decal in gold, which I photoshopped out to adhere to eBay policy. The decal is faded but quite visible. It includes a reproduction liner, marked "56". It is painted camo. It has "ET64" and "1759" stamps. My late husband was an avid collector of WW1 & 2 Militaria and I am beginning to sell off his extensive collection. He listed this in his inventory as... having been from a soldier that fought to hold the Gustav Line, but I don't know what to look for to verify. I am a complete novice when it comes to military antiques and after much Googling, am listing to the best of my ability, so PLEASE contact me with any questions you have to be sure I haven't missed something. If you'd like to see more photos or item specifics, please ask.
