This listing is for an authentic vintage antique farm or ranch tool. This is a cast iron fence stretcher repair tool for barbed wire fences. It was made by American Fence (not marked) and advertised as the "American Single Line Stretcher". Stretcher is cast iron and is 18" in length. Tool is pictured in Smith & Smiths "Collectors Guide for Fencing Tools" as No. 356.
