Please look at all the photos. 12 uploaded. Pictures taken of all sides/angles, including top, bottom, inside, close-ups, etc. Hopefully they will speak for the description and condition. I was told this is a Civil War "Peace" Gun Powder Flask. BUT, I noticed at the top, on the longer piece with the opening, imprinted or embossed in the metal, what looks to be "SANTA FE" and MADE IN ITALY. After purchasing from an estate, when the tiny screws were removed, they were so old, they crumbl...ed. So the tiny screws will have to be replaced. We wanted to be sure the inside was empty. It's a metal material, maybe brass and ? not sure, but some places on it have a darker copper color look to it. It's is embossed on both sides with the Eagle, Hand Shake, US, designs etc. Discolorations from age, use, some patina present, etc. It measures from the top metal spout piece, to the bottom, approximately 9 1/4 inches.
