Original Description:
Winterhalder & Hofmeier bracket clock movement and dial only @ 1890.  Please see my other auctions this week for the original Winterhalder & Hofmeier case, pendulum, and dual coil gong assembly that came together with this movement.  This movement is in very good as found condition with no damage or missing pieces.  It is complete and intact with good mainsprings.  It ticks and strikes, but is sold as it is without any warranty.  It strikes Petite Sonne...rie on the quarter hours, and strikes the hours on the hours.  Retains its good original tapered suspension spring.  The great original silvered dial is original to the case and measures 8 1/4" diameter to the outside of its brass dial surround.  It will fit into an 8 1/8" diameter case opening.  Great original hands.  No reserve.  USPS shipping in the continental USA will be $17.00.
