This clock has a beautiful mahogany and oak case which has a wonderful display look, it has a sliding removable hood with a glazed door and a split arch top and a carved pillar to the front corners. The trunk has a hinged door which does not have a working lock and key but does have a catch on the inside which holds the door shut when on display. A fantastic longcase clock which will look spectacular where ever it is displayedThe Clock Measures - 88 inches high x 21.25 inches wide x 10.25 inches deepDialThe clock has a beautiful hand painted arched dial which measures 18 inches high x 13 inches wide. The hand painted decoration is absolutely beautiful and in excellent condition with a bird, fruit and flower scene to the arch, the dial has a sub seconds and calendar dials to the centre which all work in accordance with the movement. The dial is signed by the maker Robert Fletcher of ChesterMovementThe clock has a 8 day bell striking movement with a sub seconds and calendar features, the movement is in full working order keeping time and striking the bell as it should. The calendar turns over with the movement every 12 hours and is in full working order, it comes with its weights, pendulum and a winding keyCondition ReportThis clock is in good original condition and in full working order.
