Good condition original pre WWI ImperialGerman Model 1887 ammo pouch, designed to hold 11mm cartridges for the 71/84Mauser rifle. Leather is supple with some wear. One flap strap has a torn tipthat is included for mending. Complete and has faint unit markings under theflap including "120.R." for the 120th (2nd Wurttemberg) Infantry Regiment "Emperor William, King of Prussia". Scarce German M1887 ammo pouch for your collection.
