This clock has an absolutely beautiful patina to the oak which has a wonderful display look, it has a sliding removable split arched top hood with a glazed door and a brass pillar to the front corners. The trunk has a hinged door with its lock not working but the door does hold shut when on display. This is a rare fantastic regulator longcase clock which will look spectacular where ever it is displayedThe Clock Measures - 86.25 inches high x 23.5 inches wide x 11.25 inches deepDialThe clock has a stunning arched brass and silvered dial which measures 18.5 inches x 13.25 inches. The dial has a silvered chapter ring with engraved roman numerals and a sub seconds and calendar dials to the centre which all work in accordance with the movement. The dial is signed on the silvered boss in the arch by the maker Archibald Lawrie of CarlisleMovementThe clock has a high quality 8 day bell striking regulator movement with a dead beat escapement, sub seconds and calendar features, the movement is in full working order keeping time and striking the bell as it should. The calendar turns over with the movement every 12 hours and is in full working order, it comes with its original weights and pendulumCondition ReportThis clock is in great original condition and in full working order.
