For sale here is a beautiful, fancy Eastlake style Victorian mantle clock made by the Ansonia Clock Company. This is a cast iron cast clock with applied marble details and VERY fancy Rams head decorations.
This clock is an 8 day clock and runs very well. It does have an issue. It chimes five minutes past the hour and once five min past the 1/2 hour mark. I don't know what caused that. This is how the clock came to me. I believe the chi...ming issue can be fixed but the works would have to be taken apart to adjust.
The case is very colorful and highly decorated in the Eastlake style. Take a look at the photos. The clock face is GORGEOUS enamel with no cracks. Nice antique brass and convex clock glass. Very fancy clock feet too.
This clock measures 17" wide x 10 tall x 7 1/4" deep/ Chimes a cathedral gong.
Here is a fancy Rams heads mantle clock that does run great but needs adjusting.
