Here for auction is this antique blanc de chine porcelain figural grouping of a courting couple on horseback. Extremely detailed, and of finest quality! It's simply marked on the bottom with a Chelsea red anchor logo, and numbered 471. I believe this is a late 18th or early 19th C example, but unconfirmed. Definitely very antique and estate-fresh. It measures approx. 6 1/2" X 4 3/4" at the oval base X 5 1/2" tall. One horse is lacking an ear, a...nd one metal reign is detached. I'm sure if you scrutinize it more carefully, you'll find some minor nicks and loss to the floral bocage decoration, but very minuscule. It has typical antique wear to the gold trim.
