The Advent/1 is a slightly smaller version of the famous " Large Advents" The exact same " Fried Egg Tweeters" and identical woofers as the NLA original Large Advents, Just a slightly smaller , more manageable cabinet. These are also great candidates for stacking with Large Advents. I really believe Dollar for dollar "Large Advents are the absolute best value in a vintage loudspeaker" If I may be so bold, I would say" Chasrock Services" has restored and sold more Large Advents th...an anyone else on eBay"! Why? because I believe in them and they were my first hi-fi speaker. They are hard to beat without spending 10 times their cost, and they sound great, especially when stacked. These are sonically excellent and just professionally re-foamed. These were professionally re-foamed by Chasrock Services. The high quality surrounds were provided by none other than " Mr. Rick Cobb". The voice coils were aligned to a 30 Hz tone to insure the absolute best possible sound . Extremely rare consecutive serial numbers. HH 100841 & HH 100840. The cabinets and grills do show signs of age and use. Corner dings, chips, laminate peels etc. The original grills have some picks and stains. If you are looking for a mint pair, these aren't it! Still very presentable and sound great. Please look at all the pictures for their exact condition.
