Click images to enlarge Description The pictures will have to do most of the talking. This is an original Civil War Emerson & Silver made sword dated 1863. It is a Model 1840, and is specifically marked "U.S DFM 1863" on one side and "Emerson & Silver - Trenton N.J" on the other. It sets in the scabbard firmly but not too tight. Shows wear but appears to be in pretty good condition..
I continue to sell off my Civil War & G.A.R. collections. There are some wonderful items that need to be taken care of for future generations so drop by every once in a while.
