1. Victorian Glove box, in dark green colour, with a coloured celluloid miniature image, of the profile of a woman mounted to the lid, the box is constructed of cloth covered wood, mounted on four similar covered feet, the fabric hinge is good and solid, with no rips or tears, with the external surface of the ...lid, still retaining some of its gold/gilt paint decoration, although the interior is worn and stained, the fabric is in good condition, signs of wear and usage to the external surfaces, commensurate with its age of 120+ years old.
Interestingly, affixed to one of the external feet, is an oval label, which details, not only the original retailers of, 'Arding & Hobbs', Clapham Junction S.W. (London), but also the size gloves of 9 3/4.
Arding & Hobbs Department store, was built in London in 1885, and located on the junction of Lavender Hill, and St Johns Hill, close to the underground station of Clapham Junction.

2. A pair of Victorian 1893 Sterling Silver handled glove stretchers, made by William Warr, and hallmarked for Birmingham 1893 (lowercase "t"), unfortunately, the pivot spring hinge is at fault, which prevents them working as they should, and there is a split to each of the legs near the handles, the silver handles themselves are in excellent undamaged condition, and are superbly decorated in a repousse work, floral design, and display exceptionally well.

3. An Edwardian 1907 Sterling Silver topped box, possibly for postage stamps, but could also have been used for hair grips, pins etc, made by 'Green & Cadbury Ltd', of Great Hampton Street, Birmingham, and hallmarked with a lowercase 'h' for 1907, with a blank oval cartouche to the lid.Condition is good, with age wear, to the brown coloured external surfaces, creases and nicks to the silver top, with the interior being in excellent condition.

4. A George V Sterling Silver handled shoe horn, no makers mark, but Birmingham assay office marked, and date letter of lowercase 'v' for 1920, and marked 'Sreel' to the blade.Condition is very good, with some dings to the handle.
