Vintage 1950s American Character 8" Betsy McCall Doll Wearing a Tonner Costume.
Adorable vintage 8" hard plastic doll from American Character dressed in a tagged Tonner Tiny Betsy costume. Betsy is jointed at the neck, shoulders, knees and hips with applied synthetic ginger brown hair or possibly red hair, including two barrettes. She has sluggish, working sleep eyes with molded lashes, peach, smiling mouth and cheek blush.Her costume consists of the dress..., panties, petticoat, two hair bows, socks and shoes. All in good condition. Marked: American Character. MEASUREMENTS: 8" tall.Will ship Priority Mail wrapped in tissue and craft paper in a box at about 16 oz.CONDITION:She is in good played with condition. Hair in good condition with two barrettes - but messy in the back. Pretty painted facial features with clear, manually working sleep eyes and molded lashes. Eyes work manually. Bright cheek blush. Perfect fingers and toes. Even skin tone. No stains, bites or damage. No knee splits but she does have a crotch split. Joints are all very loose. She can not stand and pose without a stand. Costume is tagged Tonner 2001 and in never washed, lightly display soiled condition. Working snaps. Free of rips Sold without a stand, paper work or original box.
