Antique Victorian 17th - 18th C. Style Spanish or Italian Cup-Hilt Rapier Sword.
THE GUARD IS OF GILDED METAL, STEEL OR IRON, THE GRIP AND POMMEL OF LIGHTER METAL MAY BE ALLOY WITH WARRIOR IMAGES AND CASTLES. DOUBLE EDGED BLADE HAS DEEP ENGRAVED DECORATIONS. CONDITION IS FARE WITH AGE WEAR AND PATINA, GUARD AND GRIP SLIGHTLY LOOSE, POMMEL IS SOLID WITH THE BLADE. LIKELY VICTORIAN ERA IN THE STYLE OF 17th/18th CENTURY.
