Antique 19th C. English Royal Household Guard Units Officers Sword, Maker Marked.
THE MOUNTS ARE OF STEEL AND BRASS WITH LARGE CROWNED CIPHER ON THE GUARD, THE GRIP IS FISH SKIN OVER WOOD. THE BLADE WITH LARGE FULLER AND MAKER NAME ETCHED ON RICASSO. ONE OF THE SCABBARD MOUNTS IS ENGRAVED WITH MONOGRAM. CONDITION IS GOOD WITH HEAVY PATINA AND SOME AGE WEAR, BLADE AND HILT ARE TIGHT. LIKELY MID 1800s. LARGE STRONG SWORD.
