Rare Antique 18th-19th C. Chinese Presentation JIAN Sword~Enamel Decorated Blade.
The mounts are of gilt brass with carved and etched Chinese characters, the grip is of ox bone, scabbard is wood with leather cover. The blade is double edged with extensive etched decorations highlighted with red enamel, depicting dragon and Chinese scripts. Condition is very good with age wear and patina, blade and hilt are tight. Likely 1700s to 1800s. Very attractive and rare s...word.
