Zildjian Vintage 13’’ K Istanbul Old Stamp I Hihats With G Stamp. This stamp according to my research was done by Gretsch here in the states after importing the cymbals from Turkey to signify it was a cymbal purchased through Gretsch catalog but they don’t pop up too often. The pair are both an original matched set and both display the earliest hard to find old stamp I with “Zildjian & Cie” indicating 1930’s-1945. The 843 g still shows the faint original makers signature on... the underside of the bell. Reflecting the cymbals most likely have never been cleaned.721 grams cymbal- uncleaned with beautiful patina. No signs of keyholing whatsoever. Cymbal has two dings on the edge see photo. Clear “G” stamp on the underside of the cymbal toward to edge.843 grams cymbal- uncleaned with the same great patina. No fleabites or edge damage on this one but does show some cracking around the center hole. This has been like this unchanged for the 10 years I have owned and played these cymbals.
