A NORTH EUROPEANCAMPAIGN SWORD, 17TH CENTURY Origin: NorthEurope, 17th century. Length 87, 5 cm. Blade: Straightdouble edged tapering blade with one short fuller. Stamp “CV” on the one side, and Passau wolf – on the other side of the blade. Some other illegible stamps. Hilt: Iron guardwith quillons of “S” shape, with a side ring. Iron mushroom shape pommel.Wooden grip, wrapped with brass twisted wire and Turk’s heads. Scabbard: absen...t. Condition report: Ironwith pitting of corrosion, patina in indentations.
