Details: A Italian 17th century crab hilt sword.The hilt is in good condition and original the guard has some slight play present.The blade and handle are sturdy without any play.The guard is fitted with a large shell guard, side rings and a curved quillon.The blade is in good condition . Blade is comprised of a single fuller, a double edge design and signs of extensive use. The blade is stamped on each side of the blade with an "S" this attributed to Italian armourer ...possibly Venice Specifications:Overall Length 96 CMBlade 81 CM
