Antique 19th Century Wood Folding Lap Desk Document Box Writing with Hand Painted Gold Detailing on lift lid. Beautiful real wood. Has insert tray (as shown). Hinges work perfectly; nothing loose or broken, just has a minor repair to a split on the bottom of tray (I have pictured the area in the last photo); Box has minor scuffs due to its age, but is overall in excellent condition; and clean, inside and out! Size is 11 1/2" x 8 1/4" and is 4" high. It has a lock, but there is no key. ...A great! way to organize your mail, bills, correspondence, coupons, ... all neat in one covered box!
