Rare Green Glaze Butter Churn One Gallon Crock. This Green color glaze I can not find anything like any place online. I found this in an old Farm here in Michigan that also was a General Store that opened in 1932. This was actually in an old shed/ out building on the property. I couldn't find any or stick near by. It appears it had a red ring around bottom and possibly in the center. Most all of the paint or glaze it now gone of the red color. Crock has chills around top I dont see any... crack just crazing in the glaze. I would date it to late 1800's early 1900's?? Bat am not 100% certain about that. The old farm house was built in 1913 but they lived in a different building on the farm for years before building the house. Perfect one of a kind piece for your pottery collection or a great statement piece for your Primitive Rustic Decor.
