Rare Vintage Goebel Friar Tuck Monk Egg Timer. In excellent pre-owned vintage condition, this early Goebel (the same maker of Hummels) egg timer has no chips, cracks, or repairs. This piece stands about 3 1/4" tall and is approximately 4" long. It retains it's original glass egg timer with colored sand and the wire holder and mfgrs sponge piece. This timer is hallmarked on the bottom, made in W. Germany, with a blue early stylized blue V bee mark, please se...e photos for description. A bit of age glaze crazing in places, this very rare Friar Tuck Monk Goebel egg timer would make a great addition to any collection!
