Mid Century Modern MCM Ceramic Porcelain Lidded Jewelry/Trinket Box.Lustre decoration over white porcelain.Hand Painted with Golden Atomic Starburst Made in Japan.Manufacturer: ThamesItem is vintage, preowned, & unaltered.Ships fast with USPS Priority Mail Box measures 6” x 4” and stands 1.5” highDescription:This delicate porcelain Lidded Trinket/Jewelry Box has an iridescent luster coloring with hand painted golden starbursts designs from the manufacturer, THAMES. Some of the st...arburst designs have a glue-like glittered material upon them that was also placed by the manufacturer. It is stuck on these places very well. There are a few areas that appear to be where the gold glitter glue or paint smeared outside the intended lines and the paint is a little more worn in some places than others but overall has held up well over the past 70+ years.The manufacturer sticker is still on the bottom of box.There are no breaks or crazing but the lid does have a tiny chip around the rim.
