A bright and beautiful example of an original Lenci Miniature (sometimes called Mascot) all original in Russian costume. They started making these in the 1920's and for many years. Not sure when this was made.Lenci had a very clean and bright felt face with side glancing brown eyes. Her blonde braids peek out from her headpiece. She has felt arms and mitten hands. Cotton body joined at hips.She is all original in a predominantly orange felt skirt trimmed in felt appliqués with white c...otton blouse trimmed in felt. She has cotton trimmed in felt tic tax slip and bloomers, red felt boots, yellow and hot pink head dress that adds an inch to her overall height. There is a cotton veil trimmed in yellow felt. She has an embroidered Lenci label tag and silver Lenci tag, with Russian written on back, both literally hanging in by a thread!Lenci is near mint. Clean, bright, and virtually moth free (there may be a teeny Flea bite mark, here or there, but nothing significant. Please email answer any questions you may have.
