Rare vintage knife/ tool hand carved from single piece of native wood (with a handmade braided string attached through a drilled hole.)Measure approximately 18 inches by 2 inches. (Showing width via photos. Approx. a little over 1/2 inch)Wood is two toned on one side. In perfect condition from non smoking environment. Purchased in Pohnpei, E.Caroline Islands, FSM in the early 1990's/late 80's. Ceremonial use? From a private collection.
