The bottle in a double gourd form is cleverly done in varying shades of green with added dark streaks in imitation of the mottling that occurs in jades. Carved in raised designs, stems of lotus flower, leaves and seed pod form a continuous band around the bottle, adding great appeal. The opening is flat and the recessed concave oval foot is nicely done. The bottle cap is a dark green stone with a bone spoon. The cork is a little stuck. The bottle is in a good condition. It is 3 inches... in height. The dating is first half of the 20 century.The bottle came from a Florida estate and purchased in 1990.
