Original Description:
This is a very fine antique 19th century Meissen figure of a young girl in peasant costume feeding 2 chickens and a group of baby chicks; note all of the delicate details; wonderful example of the quality of 19th century Meissen modeling and decoration; marked with crossed swords in under glaze blue with incised numbers 2814; 4-3/4 inch height; appears to be in perfect or near perfect condition - see condition report above.
