Antique German rare Black half doll with wired arms and original wig. She is a large 6.5" and her face is painted carefully, her skin tone is a smooth deep brown tone. She is made of early plaster and marked Munzerlite Pat Pending. It is in great condition, just a small chip to her plaster base. Her wig is done wonderfully in waves with red ties on each side of her face near her ears. She has her original black velvet ribbon on her slender neck, she looks upward like the Gi...bson Girl pose with confidence! She looks like she was never on a base or finished as a half doll. Her graceful arms stretch 7, 5" across and hands have no damage, they are made to bend in different ways, one arm is a bit loose and does not hold a pose like the other. I have draped a red ribbon & ostrich feather boa for display. The plaster base is a little tippy, she should be put on some sort of base to protect her. She would be wonderful dressed on a pin cushion! I have never seen one of these boudoir half dolls as a black lady, very rare. She is also the largest size I have seen.
