Up for Auction with NO RESERVE is a STUNNING LARGE PAIR ANTIQUE ROYAL VIENNA DRESDEN DESIGN PORCELAIN LIDDED URNS VASES The Vases are very beautiful featuring scenes of young Maidens in Landscape settings to the front and great panel designs all around. The Vases also feature rich Gold Gilding throughout which really sets them off and shows the super quality. As you can see the marks are blacked out, this was because one company would buy the porcelain blanks from another company and decorate them, then usually mark them with their own markings. The style is very much in the Royal Vienna taste but they were most likely made in the Dresden area of Germany in the early 1900's.
Condition : The Vases are in excellent condition for being around 100 years old with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is some minor signs of use and wear, mostly to handles as you want to see on antique pieces.
Measurements : The Urn Vases are quite large and impressive, perfect for display on a fireplace Mantle etc, measuring 13-1/4 inches tall to the to of the lid finials or 9-1/2 inches tall without lids and 6-1/2 inches across the shoulders or 3-1/2 inches across the top openings.
