Toggle harpoons are the foundation of any Eskimo artifact collection. This is an excellent early seal hunting harpoon with beautiful patina and long vertical ticked lines on all sides generally associated which the Punuk era. (800-1200 A.D.) St. Lawrence Island artifact. Horizontal crack on the underside but remains solid and stable. Last two photo is on a 1" x 1" grid for reference. Please look at my other Alaskan Artifacts.
