FROM MY PERSONAL COLLECTION. One (1) Matchbox Lesney Quarry Truck 6 b2, 11 x 24 front, 12.5 x 30 rear black plastic wheels, dome and crimped axle ends, A type body without block behind fuel tank, slightly angled windscreen header, A type tipper without cross brace underneath, A type bif rivet tipper pin variation. Stannard catalogue cast...ing code 1 of 8. This model from my 60+ year old collection is in excellent to near mint condition. It was introduced in 1957 and was sold in this type and a rare grey plastic wheels variation (Mack). It is approximately 63 mm in overall length. Please carefully examine the high definition photos for thefine, nearly flawless virgin original paintwork detail. The left hand decals is a quality replica replacement. The tipper works as it should and is connected to the body with a bif rivet pin. The black plastic wheels are in perfect working condition and show no wear from use. This Euclid Quarry Truck will display as new. Additional photographs can be sent to your e-mail address and questions will be entertained up to 4 hours prior to auction end.I make the complimentary box which will be sent with the model. They are constructed of correct weight tag board. They are laser printed so they will be somewhat glossier than an original Lesney era box, which was printed with lithography. This box is intended for display and storage purposes with a genuine Lesney Products model only. Please do not pay before we send you an invoice. After all items upon which youintend to bid have closed, you may ask for an invoice. For deliveries outsideof the US, we will make sure that proper, lowest cost combined shipping is applied. 2. Grading:VNM = Very Near Mint. The paintwork is, for all practical purposes, close to new. Original factory flaws will be noted in the listing if they exist. All original accessories are present.
NM = Near Mint. Restoration unnecessary. The paintwork is nearly perfect, clean, shiny and bright on all exterior surfaces (except for possibly the base, if painted). Original, virgin paintwork approaches 100% with the possible exception of any factory paint flaws, very minor spot paint work restoration, or very minor storage (not impact) wear. Negligible rolling use of the wheels may be present. The model is mechanically perfect. All original appliques and accessories are present.
EXC = Excellent. Minor paintwork and/or applique imperfections may exist, usually due to improper storage, not play, and will be evident in the photos. Paintwork imperfections may have been restored. Decals or other appliques may have been replaced with replicas. For this grade, no mechanical problems exist, including windows, if applicable, and no such repairs have ever been performed, in our opinion. Minor wheel use may be evident. All original accessories are usually present for this grade. If not, what is missing or replaced with replica parts will be disclosed. 3.
