For sale is a gorgeous vintage large deep Talavera serving dish by the famous Ysauro Uriarte Studio in Puebla, Mexico. The design is the classic ‘SEVILLA’ and the dish is signed on the bottom side.
Measurements:13.5 inches wide X 11.25 inches front-to-back X 2.5 inches deep. This is pre-owned in perfect condition with no chips or cracks. The colors are vivid and expertly painted as is the custom of Uriarte. Anyone would be proud to own this. Please note: the pale glaze is a bit... thin in one stroke on the bottom. This is hand-painted and it’s normal to have paint or glaze be a bit inconsistent in places. No harm done and no effect on the beauty or function. This will be well-wrapped and packaged securely to get this to you safely.
