I have here for sale a book entitled JOHN RUSKIN The Portrait of a Prophet by Peter Quennell. Published by Collins, London in 1949. First edition. John Ruskin 1819-1900, a leading English art critic as well as an art patron, draughtsman, watercolourist, a prominent social thinker and philanthropist. 9 black and white plates.Bound in light blue cloth boards with black lettering to the spine. Protected by a colour illustrated dust jacket with black lettering. Binding is... tight no loose or missing pages.
