JEREMY'S DAY IN THE COUNTRY - VINTAGE 1949 LADYBIRD BOOK
This is a rare early Ladybird book called Jeremy's Day In the Country telling the tale in verse of a pair of mice and and their antics in the countryside with their horse on wheels Bess. Story and illustrations by A.J. MacGregor.
Series 401 this was first published in 1941 and this edition is dated 1949.
Cover is fair with some minor corner buffing but it is missing part of the spine. Inside is good with all ...pages fitting tight to stitching. No scribbles or rips but some of the pages do have some marks and one page has stuck at some time and been pulled apart. Inscription on the inside stating who the book belongs to and their address.
If you are looking for a rarer Ladybird book to add to your collection this is probably a good entry level book.
