BRESLER, Fenton. Who Killed John Lennon? New York: St. Martin's Press, 1989. First Edition. Octavo. Black cloth, gilt spine titles. 309 pages, b/w plates. Near fine copy in fine dust jacket. The author's extensive research has led him to believe that Chapman was under mind control and was programmed to kill Lennon by the CIA or another alphabet agency, fitting the pattern of a Manchurian Candidate, with Salinger's Catcher in the Rye, acting as the trigger.
